- Little Giant 6kw Baptistry Electric Water Heater is Ideal for heating baptistry water containing lime, because due to fast circulation water temperature is never hot, therefore lime deposits are greatly reduced.
- The coldest water at the bottom of the baptistry is pumped through the heater. Temperature rise of about 4F is obtained as the water is circulated through a 6 KW heater with a Little Giant Pump. The number of degrees increased would be approximately amount of 7 1/2 Degree F when pumped through a 11.5 KW heater.

- At the core of the system are Incoloy steel heating elements, selected for their excellent resistance to corrosion, scaling, and thermal stress. Incoloy alloys are especially well-suited for water heating applications where mineral content may be present, helping to reduce lime buildup and extend the service life of the heating elements. This makes the heater ideal for baptistry water that may contain lime or other dissolved minerals.
- Temperature regulation is handled through precision adjustable thermostats, allowing technicians to fine-tune water temperature to meet specific usage requirements. The 6kW model features an adjustable thermostat with a temperature range of 60°F to 107°F, maintaining a tight 2-degree differential for stable and consistent temperature control. For higher-capacity systems, the 11.5kW model includes an adjustable thermostat ranging from 47°F to 107°F, with a 4-degree differential, providing flexibility while maintaining dependable temperature regulation.
- To minimize heat loss and improve energy efficiency, the heater housing is well insulated with high-quality fiberglass insulation. This insulation helps retain generated heat within the system, reducing energy consumption and allowing the heater to maintain target water temperatures more effectively. - The heater is designed for 240V single-phase electrical power, which provides optimal performance and full heating capacity. - Water circulation is provided by a Little Giant 1/40 horsepower circulation pump, operating at 230 volts. This pump delivers approximately 10 gallons per minute at a 1-foot head, ensuring constant movement of water through the heating chamber. Continuous circulation is essential for preventing temperature stratification, evenly distributing heat, and ensuring that the coldest water in the baptistry is consistently brought into contact with the heating elements.
- For added safety, the system is equipped with a high-limit safety switch, factory set to trip at 118°F (±4°F).
